Bengali Indian community of Japan is a pure non-profit seeking organization promoting cultural, social, religious and charitable events connecting Bengali – Indians and Japanese communities. We are the oldest Bengali community in Japan, formed two decades ago. It was started by a small group of people who believed to preserve the rich art, literature, culture and heritage of  Bengal vis-a-vis India as well.


cover_durga_finalOur motto is to foster a spirit of family, friendship, unity in diversity among our communities through cultural activities, social events, musical gatherings and religious festivals. We celebrate NABABORSHO, SARASWATI PUJA, LAXMI PUJA, KALI PUJA and many others. The greatest festival of India — DURGA PUJA is also celebrated with pomp and grandeur along with a lot of cultural events like recitation, dance performance, drawing competition etc. at Kawaguchi town of Saitama, Japan. The event sees hundreds of visitors from Tokyo and neighboring cities. Besides we organizes various community events like SAKURA PARTY, BARBECUE PARTY, NEW YEAR PARTY, EXCURSION TOUR, FOOTBALL MATCH, CRICKET MATCH etc. BICJ performs various social works like BLOOD DONATION CAMP, VOLUNTEERING IN DISASTER, TRAINING & AWARENESS PROGRAMS etc. We welcome new people coming from India and support them with our utmost ability.
